Operators in Big Bend NP must be familiar with park guidelines for motorcoaches and buses. On May 26, 2020, the National Park Service announced it will not standardize the Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) requirement for road-based commercial tours and will not raise commercial tour entrance fees from current rates.
Within Big Bend National Park the group size limit is 30 people for private groups, except for the following segments: Talley to Solis, and Boquillas Canyon Entrance to La Linda (East Boundary), where the limit is 20 people.

There is no public transportation to, or in Big Bend National Park. Several highways lead to Big Bend National Park: TX 118 from Alpine to Study Butte or FM 170 from Presidio to Study Butte (then 26 miles east to park headquarters) or US 90 or US 385 to Marathon (then 70 miles south to park headquarters).
